Getting there

• Reached by ferry from Chiquilá (about 15 min; departures from early morning until around 8:30 pm, confirm schedule).
• Cancún airport to Chiquilá: shared or private shuttle, or bus, roughly 3–3.5 h by road.
• From Playa del Carmen: ADO bus to Chiquilá, roughly 2.5–3 h. From Mérida: ADO, roughly 5.5 h.
• Private flights from Cancún exist (about 40 min).
• No cars on the island: golf carts or walking.
