Getting there

• About 35 km from Cancún airport: 25–40 min by car.
• ADO from the airport (several departures daily, 25–45 min depending on terminal), private or shared transfer, and taxi (agree the fare).
• Rental car at the airport: Mexican insurance is mandatory.
• The Maya Train is not practical to Puerto Morelos: it takes longer and costs more than the bus.
• The vehicle ferry to Cozumel leaves from here.
